Hi everyone! I'm Laura, I'm 23 and new to the forum! My mum is 52, and is it her 4th year battling terminal cancer which started in her breast and spread to her lungs. It's been a long emotional roller coaster, but she is doing amazingly well considering.
I'm getting more concerned lately. About 2 weeks ago my mum randomly started being sick a couple of times a day, she would be fine the just throw up. It happened for about a week, she then saw her doctor who said it could just be the 'joys' of cancer and prescribed her some new anti sickness medication. It's been great untill last night and today ( about a week on the medication) where she was sick again 3 tokes lasts for night and4 times today
Has anyone else had/heard of this? I'm worried because I link vomiting to the last stages of cancer when your body rejects near enough everything. The doctor didn't seem too concerned but wants to see her again on Thursday.
Just after some reassurance really. She's got a body scan booked next week so I know soon enough we will find out but it's a big worry. I have a 6 year old girl and it's just me and ber at my house so I don't really have anybody to talk too which is hard as I often bottle it all up then explode and really struggle for a few weeks.
