I am so sorry to hear your mum has just been diagnosed with terminal cancer. You have definitely come the right place for advice and support. Do you mind if I ask you what type of cancer your mum has been diagnosed with?

You've come to the right place for both. What sort of advice are you looking for and what sort of cancer does your Mum have? I'm pretty useless at anything other than my own type (oesophageal) but I did watch both my Mum and my Grandad fight bowel cancer, so have an idea of the journey ahead of us.
Have seen your post now it has been 'bumped up'. Have been touched by terminal cancer twice, firstly with my Dad just over 8 years ago (prostate with secondary in lungs) and again earlier this year with my husband (cancer of lung linings -Mesothelioma).
Please let the forum know what advice/support you need or you can just use it as an outlet to offload/vent your own feelings/fears. I have been well supported by some lovely virtual buddies for nearly two years.Regards Jules54
