Hi Charlie did you have a general anaesthetic were able remove any of the suspect growth? Did you have any pain afterwards j am due tho have biopsy in a weeks time I am worried not for this op but for what they may find good luck to you keep in touch it's good to know we are not alone
Hi dee12 how you doing? What kind of biospy are you gonna have? You sound like me im not scared of biospy im scared of what they might find. I have no idea what kind of cancer i can have if i have it. Dr said kidney f nction good liver function good my mammo were negative. I have swollen lymph node. But just have alot of symptoms. Morning Berd mine is a bladder biopsy I lost my left kidney to a Transistional Cell Carcinoma which originates from the bladder that was my third cancer my first. was 16 yrs ago now they think this one may have recurred In my bladder which i knew was a possibility it is a relief in a way when they find what it is and can tell you the options of dealIng with whatever. I have been very well sand they found some regrow the when I went for routine test. . I wish you the very best of luck it will get easier when you know what you are dealing with . Dee12
I'm ok. I get my diagnosis on Monday 17th August, I think next week is going to be the longest week of my life! The way I see it is the sooner I get a diagnosis the sooner I can start treatment and the sooner I can tick it off the list and say been there done that! My biopsy was on a lump in my neck so it was done under local and it was absolutely pain free! Took about 20 mins, half an hour max. All I have now is a tiny cut almost like you'd get from a bramble and it's healing like any cut would. No pain afterwards, it felt a bit tender but that's just because of the bruise, again the bruise is no different to one you'd get if you walked into a table!
I get the worry about about what they might find. For me it's not so much from my biopsy but from the MRI I had, I'm trying not to think about if it's spread. When's your biopsy? Good luck, keep me update. You're right it's so nice to know you're not alone :-) x
Hi Charlie T my biopsy is Friday 14th should be in for day but expect I will have to wait for results it's the waiting that gets to you it eats away at u bit by bit that's why it's a relief when you get results whatever the news is at least u have options to deal with fingers crossed for all my comrades good luck x
