Hello my name is berdine and i have a swollen lymph node in the left auxillary my mammogram was negative but ever since dr told me i have gotten more symptoms. Im itching in the neck really bad ive lost 7 lbs i think im starting to loose my appetite im still waiting on biospy any info will help i cant sleep

    Hi Berdine  and welcome to the forum.  Hope it will not be too long before others are along to say hello.

    Hope it will not be too long before your hear when your biopsy appointment will be.  As you feel you have other symptoms since last seeing your doctor  it may be worth going back to keep him up to date .Loss of appetite, weight loss and the fact you are not sleeping are all possibly linked to the stress you are under during the waiting period but if you would like to talk about this with the nurses on this site they can be reached on the number on the bottom on this page, Mon to Fri 9-5.   Good news that  your mammogram was negative and hope you have family/friends that can support you too.     Well they did blood work again gonna send it to a hepatalogist. Just waiting hopefully i will have a biopsy by next week. Any info is great help dr said my wbc have been high for some time now. Reading these blogs and posting helps alot.

    Thanks jules i just feel like its not fast enough i must have tpatience any little symptom i feel i think its related.

    Waiting is not easy nor is the worrying.  Hope you have family and friends who can help you keep occupied whilst waiting for the appointment to come round. When my  husband was waiting for his tests/scans etc he managed to continue working otherwise i think he would have been crawling up the walls.Mind you I think i did the stressing whilst at the time he just got on with it in his own quiet way- different personalities!Jules
