Clarity

Hello, this is my first time here. In January this year I had a right upper lobectomy to remove a tumour.  Last Friday I had a call from my Dr following a CT scan I'd had.  He read the report to me which said they had found nodules and suscpected metasteses.  I am waiting for an appointment with my hospital but would like to know what is the likelihood that the cancer has come back?  I have also noticed over the last 3-4 weeks I have had a persistent cough.

  • Hello SueBee,

While waiting for our other members to come and say hello, I thought I would welcome you to our friendly forum where you will meet others who may have been in a similar situation.

Our nurses are also available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm to answer any questions you may have so don't hesitate to ring them on 0808 800 4040. They also have an 'Ask the Nurses' topic area on the forum.

I hope your appointment at the hospital goes well. Make sure you mention your persistent cough too.

Please come back here and let us know what they said!

    Best wishes,
