Hello from a newbie

Hello I have just joined, not used forums before. My husband has lymphoma and for two years we have been in the fight against it. Some days are good, so we do stuff. Some days are bad and I feel the need to talk sometimes. So just thought is would say hello to you all. Ah forgot to say today not a good day.

Hi Hummingbird = welcome here. Yup - know the feeling well. My wife had cancer and has left her tired alot. She tries - but it is hard. It is a nice forum and you may feel at home. There are so many kind and caring people who know first hand all about cancers. They will hope and wish the best for you. They come from all walks of life. I am currently sorting out the back garden! I also keep myself busy studying and researching. My work allows her to rest.

Thank you Steven, just a few kind words goes a long way. Yes it's a good ides to keep busy, I have taken up painting, although my artistic talent is nil, it takes my mind away from everyday things for a while. My husband has just said he would like to cook me a meal tonight so hopefully if he feels up to it we will go shopping for the ingredients. Good luck with the garden. It's a nice time to be out there with spring coming on.
