Welcome to this forum. Hope you are recovering well. I also had prostate cancerbut after having two years of hormone therapy and 37radiotherapy sessions, I have made a good recovery. Still suffer the odd side effect like HOT FLUSHES but I have to look in them as a small price to pay for the results I got.
Welcome Mike, just to let you know that my hubby had this op in 2008 aged 58 and although it took about 6 months to return to normal (become dry) he is fine now and officially retired.
Unfortunately not all ops turn out as predicted, some people need a further op to control symptoms!
