Hi I have had best cancer in the past and I am currently undergoing treatment for Chronic Myeloid leukaemia. I am in hospital tonight getting treatment for a respiratory infection and I thought it might be reassuring to chat to others in similar positions. I am also a qualified radiotherapist and studied radiotherapy and oncology at university 8 years ago after undergoing treatment myself. I have also lost many friends and family to cancer so I therefore have quite a diverse knowledge of the disease. I do have a great sense of humour when it comes to my personal circumstances of treatment and coping with cancer and I find it easy to talk to others about cancer.
