im new to this

I was diagnosed 6 march that ive got stage 3 breast cancer im terrafied now tests start on monday b4 chemo

  • I think at the beginning of the journey most of us are scared not knowing what lies ahead.  The very word Cancer scares us.  Once I got my treatment underway, I felt better emotionally , I was doing something.  Chemo is not nice, but very doable.  I found the time went very fast, before I knew it - it was over, and radiotherapy did not affect me in any way.  Yes, of course, there will be bad days and good, but you can do this.  I am a three year breast cancer survivor.  I work in a school, and finished my treatment in the June and went back to work in the September.  I feel very well now, and look forward to the future.

Hope this helps you, please keep in touch if I can help further.

  • I was diagnosed with lung cancer in August 2013.  I have had chemo and radiotherapy.  I felt okay at first, but now I find it difficult to eat and feel sick all the time although I am on medication to stop sickness.  Has anyone else felt like this?
