Hi

My name is Sam I had a sub total colectomy for a bowel tumour I had which the gp's and the hospital initially thought was Ibs and constipation

I was told by the consultant he was pretty sure I am a dukes b or c but the histology isn't back a month after my operation is this normal practice?

Hello Sam,
A big welcome to our forum! You have come to the right place to meet others affected by bowel cancer as there are many on here who have been in a similar situation to you.
I was going to suggest you post in Ask the Nurses for advice as they may be able to help with your question on the histology but I noticed that you beat me to it and have already asked them there.
