Brand new but ready to help

Hi There, I'm Nat, I'm 24 years old and I've joined because I'd like to help people on here.

I came aross the forums by an email I received from Cancer Research, I thinks it's a fantastic idea as sometimes talking to people 'outside of the box' so to speak does help.

My experiences of Cancer was through my mum, she had Breast and Skin cancer, she fought for 4 years until she past away in 2009.

She went through chemo, radio therapy, tried herceptin, had her breast removed and was taking so many tablets our house was practically a pharmacy!

If anyone does want a chat about everything and anything I'm here, it's comforting to know that you're not alone.

  • I agree! A lovely post. I am also new after my Mum's diagnosis 2 weeks ago. A scary time where I feel useless - wish I lived closer. I am also in Portsmouth and my family is up in Norfolk, the distance makes me feel very homesick - especially now. Nice to find a community full of such caring people. Hannah xx
