Lost without my Mum

My mum was fit and healthy 3 months ago. She was taken into hospital on 8th December and had a heart drain, from that they

diagnosed advanced incurable lung cancer. Mum was discharged on 23rd December. She had a mini stroke Christmas Day, then went back into hospital on 16th January for a lung drain. She passed away on 31st January.

It all seems to have happened so fast. I can't get my head around it.

I miss mum beyond belief. Why did this happen? We have no history of cancer on our family, and mum was a non smoker.

I don't know what to do without her.

My dear Beth ...... I am so sorry to read your post - what a terrible thing you have all been through. None of us can answer why this happened - bad things happen to good people and goodness knows how we cope with them but somehow we do as you will see on the forum.  I wish I could say something to help you make sense of it all and hope you will stay in touch when you need support or just a 'rant'.  There are many lovely people here who will be there for you and share their experiences. Take care sweetheart and know others understand and you are not alone x
