Colposcopy results

Hi, I'm 30 years old, and I had the HPV vaccine when I was a teenager. I've previously had three smear tests, all of which came back HPV-positive, but with no abnormal cells. My doctor referred me for a colposcopy.

During the colposcopy, the doctor took two biopsies. She identified two white patches after applying the dye. I was told it would take 2–3 weeks to get my results and I would receive them in the post. After five weeks, I called to check because I still hadn't received anything, and I was told that my results would be discussed at an MDT meeting the next week. I know this means something is wrong, and I'm really worried. My partner and I had started TTC a few months ago, so we have put this on pause until I know more.

I haven't experienced any symptoms, such as abnormal bleeding or pain.

Has anyone had a similar experience?
