I'm really sorry that you need to have your right ear removed. I can't begin to imagine how you must have felt when you found this out but I hope you've managed to talk things through with your surgeon and you're feeling a bit more prepared for what's to come.

We do have some information on our website about treatment for cancer to the outer ear but if you would like to discuss any of this further with one of our cancer nurses you can either give them a call on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m or make a new post about this in ask the nurses. They're very knowledgeable and will do all they can to support you and answer your questions.

Even though there aren't many posts about this type of ear surgery on the forum we still have plenty of friendly and supportive members within our community and I hope some of them will stop by soon.

Fingers crossed you won't have to wait too long for your surgery Robalfa and all goes well with the fitting of your false ear.
