Hi. Wandz here

Hello   just joined this group & wld like to talk with anyone who has HCC. I was given the hope of a resection but after opening me up, found it had spread. I'm 5 weeks into healing from that op, and have lready been offered immunotherapy, tho I don't know which one yet. It's not going to cure me, but maybe kill off some of the large tumor on my left side liver. It's spread to the right side liver to now, the lymph nodes & the diaphragm too, so unsure about a decision. Wld be good to get some feedback.  Blessings to everyone on here

  • Hello Wandz

If you have been offered the chance to have immunotherapy definitely take it. It will not cure your liver cancer but can help extend and give you a better quality of life, usually without any serious side effects. Ive been having immunotherapy for a different type of cancer, also incurable for the last 20 months with few side effects other than a rash and fatigue. One of the big benefits not ever mentioned is that apart from slowing the advance of cancer is that it brings some hope, which can go a long way to help your general wellbeing. Wishing you the strength to overcome all the difficulties this rotten disease brings to us all.
