Suspect Lymphoma

Hi all. Has anyone out there had lymphodenopathy for 18 months?

No other symptoms. Except extreme tiredness which I put down to stress and the menopause. Nothing showing in regular bloods.

First lump noticed in groin area March 2025 which has been slowly increasing in size then more slow growing lymph nodes appeared in the shoulder and neck area. Recently more lumps felt under armpit.

Pet scan lit up so currently waiting for biopsy from the groin.

I feel so well. Surely I can't be ill!

Does anyone else have experience of this?

  • Hi Demanda,

I can imagine it has been such a stressful time for you to have had these symptoms for 18 months. You did the right thing flagging this lump in your groin area and the other lumps you noticed afterwards and I hope you won't have to wait too long for this groin biopsy. This must be all the more disconcerting for you as you feel so well so you must be wondering what is going on but it's good that these lumps are getting closely monitored and investigated.

I am keeping everything crossed for you that it all turns out to be nothing concerning and that you get the results of the groin biopsy very soon. While you are waiting for these important results, I thought I would share with you these helpful tips on how to cope while waiting for important news.

I hope that you won't have to wait too long to find out more and that you will hear from others here who have been in a similar place before.

    Best wishes,
