I had a lumpectomy first time , but discovered pre-cancer in the other breast 5 months later and a second cancer in the original one just a year after my initial diagnosis. I had a double mastectomy for the second bout. Unfortunately, I was unable to have reconstruction due to previous non-cancer related surgery. How are you coping after your surgery?
