Hi all, I’m new to this so I might ramble! Sorry! I was diagnosed with PPC in May. Have had 4 cycles of chemo, 2 pleural effusions and 2 ascitic drains amongst countless other stuff. Had an iron IV and blood transfusion this week in preparation for Cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC this coming Sunday. Don’t want to appear rude but I have had excellent nurse led support and information so far so I’m not looking for that on here but I really would like to hear from anyone that has undergone this surgery particularly in regard to post operative recovery. I’m mentally very strong so I’m not phased by this, it is what it is and I have my head in a good place re the surgery. I know everyone is different but first hand experience is invaluable. Can anyone share their experience or give tips / ideas / advice to help recovery please? Thanks for your support!
