It's back - melanoma has returned for a 4th time and is now in my lung for a 2nd time. Starting treatment soon

Hi All, I have Stage 4 M1b Melanoma, BARF wild-type, come back a 4th time and now a 2nd time in my lung I am due to start immunotherapy for the 2nd time but with much stronger & unfortunately more toxic drugs, not sure where this is going but just wanted to say hi

    It started on my shoulder in 2016, misdiagnosed then went under correct treatment in 2020, excised 4 times as its come back, despite 12 months on Pembrolizumab, thyroid & pancreas affected,  had metastasised in the lung first lower left lobe now upper left lobe, awaiting PET scan then start treatment with nivolumab & ipilimumab

    I'm so sorry you are facing this all over again and are starting different, stronger treatment. If you don't mind I've sent you a friend request.
