I'm really sorry to hear how difficult last night was for you after finding out you have oesophageal cancer.
As so many of our members will tell you it's very common to experience a wide range of emotions after receiving a cancer diagnosis so you are not alone Kazza29, and hopefully it won't be long until you receive some support and advice on how to deal with this from our community.
