Welcome to Cancer Chat Mamorag, although I'm sorry to hear you've been diagnosed with stage 3 endometrial cancer.
I'm not sure if you've used the 'search forum' option at the top of the webpage to have a look for other discussions about this diagnosis just yet, but if not I've had a quick look and found that Elsierose made a post about being diagnosed with stage 2/3 endometrial cancer 8 months ago. Although they haven't been active on the forum recently, if you try reaching out to them they may pop back and let you know how they're getting on.
You can also find out more about endometrial cancer on our website but if you have any other questions or concerns you can get in touch with one of our cancer nurses on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very easy to talk to and will do all they can to support you on this journey.
Kind regards,
Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
Hello Mamorag. I was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer and had debuckling surgery. The biopsies revealed that in fact, it is endometrial cancer, which spread to ovaries and liver. I've had chemo before surgery but now with this new diagnosis, they are thinking of starting immunotherapy. I also suffers from Ascetis, which is a nightmare. Do you know what will be your treatment? Hi! I just came across your post and I wanted to write something that I hope will be reassuring . I was diagnosed with endometrioid adenocarcinoms ( endometrial cancer ) stage 3c back in May 2024. I was 55 years old at diagnosis . This was a complete shock as I never get sick -never even had the flu or Covid !
I had a complete hysterectomy and salpingo oophorectomy -they warned me about this /that before the surgery and afterwards before my 6 rounds of chemo and 5 weeks radiotherapy . Apart from a rash on week one of chemo , my hair thinning a bit( most of it was saved by wearing the cold cap ) , I am now fine . My results have been coming back all normal , energy is as normal , hair now back to normal , feel completely healthy … you can conquer this hurdle ! Stay strong , positive , carry on as normal , do fun things , treat yourself and keep going ! Wishing you all the best xxx
Thank you this was so nice to hear (not the fact that you had to go through that ) that you are so positive after coming through this. I will stay strong and hopefully I will be posting after my treatment is finished. Thank you xx
