I can imagine it is a worrying time for you finding out you have VIN3 under your clitoris and there is information on our website on vulval intraepithelial neoplasia (VIN) which I hope will reassure you. It's good that they are monitoring this closely with regular checks ups every 3 months and that the consultant will be keeping a close eye on how it develops.

It's normal to be constantly worried though and if you wanted to talk things through with one of our cancer nurses, there is a free helpline you can call on 0808 800 4040 - it is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. 

You are not alone though and there are others on here who have had VIN3 and it can help to talk to someone who has been through something similar before. I have just had a look on the forum and found a couple of threads from a few months ago which might be of interest to you. Jessie88 posted this thread on needing advice about VIN3 and Blondeworrior4 posted a thread about having VIN3 surgery. These are just a couple of examples and if you type the keywords 'VIN3' in our search function which is located at the top of the page, you will find other threads on VIN3 by members who have been affected in a similar way.
