Confused about cervical biopsy results

I had a biopsy of my cervix in January. In February they said I still had cin 3 and hpv. In July I went for a check up and got my results that no hpv and I'll be called in 3 years for a smear. 

I don't understand what has happened to the cin 3. I understand hpv can go away. I didn't think cin 3 did. Should I go see my nurse at my surgery or just wait till next smear test

    I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had some abnormal cervical screening results. It's understandable that you've been left feeling confused by the information you've been given over the last few months. 

    It sounds like it might be a good idea to make an appointment to talk with your GP or practice nurse so that they can clarify the results and give you some reassurance.
