Mike - going through my second battle with cancer

Hi... I'm Mike, I live in the North West and I'm just going through my second little battle with Cancer, I had my Prostate removed 9 years ago and now I'm into my 5th week of a 6 week programme of Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy. I have created a CLog, my version of a Blog and I would like to post them here, could anybody let me know if this type of update would be appropriate please?

  • Welcome to the Cancer Chat community MikeJ1959, although I'm sorry to hear you're facing cancer for a second time. 

    It's lovely you want to share your journey with us and you're more than welcome to post updates on the forum and link to your blog as well if you'd like.

    Hopefully some of our members will stop by when they can to welcome you to the forum as well but in the meantime I'm sending you all my support and wishing you all the best with your treatment. If you have any questions or concerns about your treatment, we have a team of cancer nurses you can call on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very insightful and will do all they can to help.

    Thank you for responding, much appreciated.

    My Blogs turned into CLogs, all will be explained within my updates and the link would just be to my FB page, I’ll just input my CLog wording straight into this portal, okay?

    Hi Mike, 

    The Cancer Chat forum is a safe space to connect with people affected by cancer and where users remain anonymous, so we would advise you not to include the link to your Facebook page and encourage you to post on the forum instead.
