  • Hello Magree and welcome to Cancer Chat,

It's not easy to receive a diagnosis like this after you've lost loved ones and can understand that you would be scared. Having cancer might feel like lonely place sometimes, but there is support out there. Your medical team are there to address an concerns or answer any questions you have, but if you'd like to speak to a cancer nurse about anything we have a free and confidential helpline available. You can call on 0808 800 4040 and lines are open from 9 to 5 Monday to Friday. There is also guidance around the two main types of lymphoma on our website, as well as ways to cope and manage the treatment. You can refer to these pages at anytime and I hope that you do.

It can feel more bearable facing this with the people you're closest to so don't be afraid to lean on them when you need to. I'm sure there are people in your life that would want to be there for you.

I hope this is helpful in some way,
