I’ve got myeloma which isn’t active enough yet to need treating but ithas an rare side effect of depositing crystalline deposits in my corneas so I am struggling with my visual acuity. 

My corneal consultant and haematologist have decided to start me on four courses of chemo followed by a stem cell transplant then two further courses of chemo in the hope of clearing my corneas and halting any progression of the myeloma for awhile.

Not really looking forward to either the chemo or the transplant…especially the weeks in hospital needing to be kept in isolation.
