Post neuropathic pain
I suffer terribly from this after breast cancer surgery and radiotherapy. My oncologist said that it's bad nerve damage and won't go away. I had lymph nodes removed as well as a large proportion of my breast.
Its like having 10 hyperdermic needles stuck in my side.
Has developed into fibromyalgia and I can't sleep as now I have myoclonosis.

Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling with this pain - this sounds very difficult.

I'm not sure how much support the specialist has given you for this, but it's important that you're able to get all the information you need, including ways to help manage it. If you don't feel you have this, try to speak to your doctor again.

We also have nurses available - it may be helpful to talk things through with one of them. If you'd like to do that, you can reach them on freephone 0808 800 4040 (Monday-Friday, 9-5).

In the meantime, hopefully you'll get more replies to your post - particularly if others with similar experience see it.
