Thats extremly good news that you are 9 years on from treatment and clear. I had radiotherapy to my neck and jaw 11 years ago but cancer is back again. I still do my neck stretching and swallowing excercises every day and use duraphat toothpaste to prevent tooth decay and the possibility of necrosis of the jaw.. Other than my jaw being a bit stiff at times a dry mouth and not being able to grow a beard on one side of my face Im ok. What problems are you getting now ?
Yeah much the same as yourself toothpaste dry month jaw sore all the time not sharp pain more like heavy pains and needles jaw bit stiff to mite have to give up work.sorry yours has come back must be really hard .
Sorry to hear your jaw is giving you such pain have you been back to the doctor to get it checked out. Having to give up work is a big step too. Although the cancer is back and has spread to my bones I'm doing Ok and getting immunotherapy which is keeping me quite well. Hope you can get some relief.
