Liver cancer - finding out what stage it is on Tuesday. Is anyone in a similar position?

Hi all

I was  diagnosed on Thursday with cancerous 10cm liver tumour which  was unexpectedly found whilst investigating a completely different problem. I am absolutely terrified- I'm an active 69 year old granny and have had no symptoms at all. Staging etc appointment on Tuesday at our nearest specialist hospital and am expecting the worst. Anyone else in similar situation?

  • When I was told I definitely had bone cancer I was not sure what to think. If I had appointments I made brief summary notes and made new friends. I was a low grade case in addition. I was assessed as a Stage One A/B case after a diagnostic bone MRI too. I did six rounds of chemo and had a surgery where they replaced part of the bone in question. I hope you are okay this weekend.
