I have cancer of the pituitary gland and tomorrow I am having surgery to remove the gland and neck dissection to remove the nodes on the right side. Does anyone else have experience of this?
I'm sorry to hear that you were recently diagnosed with acinic cell carcinoma. I hope that your surgery yesterday went smoothly and that you're being well cared for without too much discomfort.
I can't see that we have any other members who have recently posted about having the same diagnosis, although there are lots of members who have commented about going through neck dissection surgery. Hopefully you recovery will all go as planned, and the team will be able to give you some reassurance before too long.
