Potential Diagnosis

Hello,

I am making a post to introduce myself, I am 28 years old, until this point relatively healthy, I was given a suspected cancer 2 week referral back in January due to a abnormal cyst on my right ovary which had a lot of suspicious characteristics. I had radio silence until 12 weeks later I put a complaint in to the nhs board, I have finally had my first appointment and my consultant explained due to the nature of the cyst, thick walls, internal blood flow, different compartments, and they are very concerned it is ovarian cancer. He reasssured me that it is rare for someone my age to get this however it is a possibility.

I have also been diagnosed with several fibroids, the largest 12cm.

I am struggling with this at the moment, has anyone got any advice on how to cope? No one in my close circle has never experienced anything like this so I don’t have loads of people to talk to,

thank you for your time,

much love x
