stage 2 lymphoma at 22

Hi all, i’ve been looking at the chat when I had some symptoms before my diagnosis- and it was so helpful. Doctors seemed to push my worries aside but I persisted as I could tell something wasn’t right in my body.

Ive been diagnosed a few days ago, and the feelings are coming in weird waves. A few hours ago i found the staging and it’s made me feel less negative, in my head I bigged it up to be a later stage, so this is a big positive for me.

can anyone give me some advice as a young woman dealing with hodgkins lymphoma? any recommendations for ways to help with treatment or to keep the head as clear as possible.

I just really really hope I can get past this and travel with my partner.

  • A very warm welcome to the Cancer Chat forum Estellabeth288, although I'm sorry to hear you've been diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkin Lymphoma.

As you can see on our website, finding out you have cancer can bring about so many thoughts and emotions so I hope it helps to know that you're ok and that the rollercoaster of feelings you're contending with at the moment are completely normal.

I'm sure some of our members who have been on this journey will stop by soon to share their experiences and advice but if it would help to talk any of this through with one of our cancer nurses they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. With their insight and knowledge they will do all they can to answer your questions and help you feel more prepared for what's to come.

We're sending you all our support Estellabeth288 and wishing you all the best with the start of your treatment.
