Rare Cancer

Hi,in 2024,I got pregnant but lost the pregnancy. After surgery it was confirmed I had Molar Pregnancy. It progressed and became Cancer. I had 6 months of chemo and had to switch chemotherapy as it wasn't working as expected. I am now free of the Cancer and have a beautiful daughter when I was told I was in menopause after Chemo.

I would love to hear other people's experiences with this Cancer as I don't know many other people who have had it.

  • Hello A_R_0809

I'm sorry to hear that you had a molar pregnancy in 2024 and that, following surgery, it was confirmed that the molar pregnancy had progressed to cancer. It sounds like it's been a real rollercoaster for you and I'm delighted to hear that you now have a daughter after all that you've been through.

I've had a look through the forum and I can't see any other members who have mentioned a similar story. It can sometimes be difficult when you've been given a rare cancer diagnosis but hopefully someone who has also been on this journey will see your post and reach out to connect with you.

I hope that you continue to remain well and that your little girl brings much joy and happiness.

    Sending our best wishes,
