Waiting for biopsy and CT results

Hi I had triple negative breast cancer 14 years ago and had a colonoscopy (after a FIT test) a week ago ? My MDT meeting is tomorrow but my surgeon has already told me I have an upper colon tumour although he said after colonoscopy it was reasonably small and he thought he could get rid of it with surgery? Any advice from anyone who has been through this ? And what was the down time after surgery? I want to get back to work asap ? I have a sedentary job so nothing too physical but long shifts ? Thanks all in advance

    I just wanted to welcome you to the forum and find out if you've heard anything since the MDT meeting took place. 

    Hopefully some of our members who have had an upper colon tumour removed will stop by soon to share their experiences of surgery and recovery but we also have a team of cancer nurses you can talk to on 0808 800 4040. Their helpline is open Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m and they will do all they can to answer your questions and address any other thoughts or concerns you may have at this time.
