Hi Lisa and a very warm welcome to Cancer Chat, 

I can imagine it's a really hard time for you as you are waiting to have this scan and it's normal to be worried and anxious at the moment. I hope that you won't have to wait too long for your appointment and if you see that you are really struggling with sleep while you are waiting, it might be a good idea to mention it to your doctor so that you can get some help and don't have to be sleep deprived and unwell during this time of uncertainty. 

I hope that you will hear from other members of our community who have been in a similar place before and that they will tell you how they felt themselves when they were having to wait for a scan and were worried about cancer. 

Waiting for tests and for results is by no means easy and I thought I would share with you our helpful tips on how to cope while waiting for important news. 

I am keeping everything crossed for you that you will get some definite answers soon and that everything will turn out to be fine.
