Hello Maldives26
I'm sorry to hear that your son has recently been told that his health has relapsed. It's understandable that this is a worrying time for you all.
Nodular lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin lymphoma (NLPHL) is not very common. Around 5% of people diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma have NLPHL.
There are some posts on the forum where people have mentioned NLPHL, but these are all quite a few years old. If you'd like to read through some of them, then you can find them by using the forum search function at the top of the page to look for NLPHL. I'd suggest having a look at the Lymphoma Action UK website. As a specialist lymphoma charity, you are more likely to be able to connect with someone who has this uncommon diagnosis. They also have a buddy service, so it may be that your son can connect with someone through their support services.
If either of you would like to talk things through with one of our team of nurses, you're welcome to give them a call on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information and support they can.
Hopefull,y he won't have to wait too long to see the team to discuss the treatment options and they will be able to give you both some reassurance.
Do let us know how he gets on.
Best wishes,
Jenn
