Throat cancer can't sleep. What I wouldn't give for a good 8 hours.

I have just been diagnosed with cancer i have had all the observation teeth out the lot Thursday this week get my feeding tube in start radiotherapy next week but I am not get much sleep 2hour here a hour there so now I am wandering around the house bored and in a bit of pain I would kill for a good 8 hours

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. It sounds like you are dealing with a lot. You mention you have an appointment today to have the feeding tube in - I hope that this goes OK, as well as the start of treatment next week.

    It would be good to discuss the sleeping with your doctor when you can, to see if they can suggest anything. Also do be sure to discuss any pain you're in as it's important that can be managed effectively.
