I am a secondary breast cancer patient where it has progressed I to my bones, liver and lungs. i have small progressions over the last three years.

More recently I have been given Capecitabine in total I have had three cycles. Each cycle has been interrupted either by missing a dose or two days.

however, the last cycle I almost completed within a day when I had a Pulmonary Embolism. No visible warning signs other than breathlessness which came on suddenly.

has anyone else experienced anything like this. This happened five days ago and I have been told I will make a full recovery and be on blood thinners for the rest of my life  I am still reeling a little as to how lucky I have been.

Any thoughts/advice on this matter would be gratefully appreciated.
