I'm fresh here. Hope you're doing well x

I have silent reflux, and post nasal drip. Since treatment, my symptoms have been improving and in better control. 

However, 8 weeks ago, I started and still am having, ongoing right side neck pain (not a sore throat, but a structural pain) which causes daily right side ear pain.  

I was referred last October to ENT for constant throat hoarseness. This continues to affect me daily, even if not obvious to others, but I know there's a raspiness and weakness to my voice. 

I was on the routine waiting list for ENT, but was able to expidite my appointment, and now have an appointment next week.  

Despite these symptoms , I feel generally well, no weight loss and full blood count test normal. But, I'm starting to mentally prepare that I may have a head or neck cancer

Please can anyone give me advise on what to expect, what to ask, what to mention etc during this appointment

I'd appreciate you describing the outcome of your appointment if you feel comfortable to. 

I'm particularly anxious as I have a 5 year old son who is my whole world. It's frightening I may need to fight for my life right now,
