Evening all: looking to talk to others who are fighting cancer

Hi everyone i just want to introduce myself and see how we are all coping. Wanted to join the site to get information and support from people who are going through and have been through the fight against cancer.

  • Hi Buckers,

A very warm welcome to our forum.

There are certainly plenty of us here who have experienced or are experiencing the fight against cancer. We are all happy to give information and support to anyone who is in the same boat. Can you tell us a little more about your own circumstances or how we can help you?

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx

  • Hi Jolamine thank you for the reply,  was firstly diagnosised baxk in 2022 and had an op to remove the melonoma, then I October last year found a lump in my groin which was another melonoma on my lymph nodes l, so had an op 30th December to remove that and while in hospital the 3rd cancer was found on my left lung

  • Hi Buckers,

Wow. You have certainly been through the mill in the past 4 years. I am a breast cancer lady and not too conversant with melanoma. There are a number of people on this forum who have battled melanoma and I'm sure that they'll be along shortly to compare notes. The best place to start your quest might be with AngieT, who posts under the heading "Scared - just been diagnosed with skin cancer". She has had melanoma for a few years and has done a lot of research on the subject. She is happy to talk to anyone about the subject and gives some good advice. Just enter her details in the search box at the top of this page and you'll find her posts.

I am sorry to hear about the latest cancer on your left lung? This must have come as quite a shock - how are you coping with this?

Please keep in touch and let us know how you are getting on and remember that we are always here for you.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
