Colorectal cancer - having major surgery next week. Feeling weepy, tired and alone. Is this normal?

Got diagnosed after taking the postal "poo" test just before christmas .having major surgery on the 3rd feb. I'm feeling a bit weepy and tired . I have my family around me but i feel very alone. Is this normal or am i being silly?

Not being silly at all! Whatever your body and or mind is saying to you, go with it. If you want to cry, want to sleep do it. I hope all went well with your op and you are on the road to recovery.
