Large (around 5cm) round lump in right breast. Moves when I press on it. Feel lump under armpit but have recently had the flu. Got breast clinic appt next week. Just very worried as found lump in armpit.
I am sorry to hear that you have found these lumps and understand your concerns. You have done the right thing by getting them investigated. Not all lumps are cancerous. If you have had flu recently the swelling could be a swollen lymph node which has reacted to your flu. Other benign causes for lumps include Fibroadenoma and cysts. The fact that your lumps are moveable and round causes me to hope that all may still be ok, as most cancer lumps are fixed and have jagged edges. This is always an anxious time.
