A warm welcome to Cancer Chat. I am so sorry to hear that the radiotherapy on your vocal cord has caused so many side effects and that you have lost your saliva and taste. I am not sure how long it tends to last but it can help to talk through any worries you have with your doctor so don't hesitate to get in touch with your medical team to ask them whether it is normal. I think it will reassure you to contact your GP and to find out whether this is to be expected.

I am sorry that your thyroid suffered badly from all this but it's good they are monitoring it closely with regular blood tests.
