  • Hello Ikarim

Welcome to the Cancer Chat forum, although I'm sorry to hear about the news that has led you to find us.

I presume from your post that the information you've shared is your own diagnosis. It sounds like it's been a difficult time for you since diagnosis, but it's good to hear that currently things are clinically stable and that the cancer is controlled. I'm sure that it's been a relief to know that treatment is working.

Hopefully, you've only had to deal with minimal side effects from the medications you've been taking. If you feel at any point it would be helpful to talk things through with one of our team of nurses, you're most welcome to give them a call. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information and support they can. They're available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, on 0808 800 4040.

I hope that things continue to remain stable for you.

    Best wishes,

  • Hello Jenn,

Thank you very much for your kind and welcoming message. I really appreciate your support and understanding — it means a lot, especially during what has been a challenging time.

You’re right, it has been difficult since the diagnosis, but I’m grateful that things are currently stable and that the treatment is working. That does bring some reassurance. So far, the side effects have been manageable, which I’m thankful for.

Thank you also for sharing the details about the nurse support line. It’s comforting to know that help and guidance are available if I need it.

Thanks again for your kind wishes and support.

    Best wishes,

    Ikarim
