PMP: Pseudomyxoma Peritonei

Was diagnosed with PMP in may 2024. Had debulking op June 2024 and CRS/HIPEC in November 2024. At my 2nd 6-monthly CT scan in November they found several pockets of mucin and tumours but I am not suitable for further surgery because of the tumours on my small bowel. Will be seeing oncologist next Friday to discuss palliative chemotherapy but absolutely terrified.

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I hope you are getting on as OK as can be - I'm sure the uncertainty and waiting to hear more will be difficult.

    Try to take things a day at a time and keep busy where possible while you wait, as some people say this can help when waiting for appointments.

    We are always here for support whenever you need it, and hopefully you'll get some more replies to your post here soon.
