Hello Suzie66
I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had a lumpectomy for breast cancer. I hope that your recovery from the surgery has gone smoothly and that you're feeling ok.
I can see that you've also posted on another thread where some members are dealing with similar experiences. Hopefully, you'll be able to connect with other women who have been through this surgery and diagnosis soon.
If there's anything you'd like to talk through with one of our team of nurses they'll be back in the office next week available on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (excluding bank holidays).
Sending my best wishes for your continued recovery.

Hi Suzie66,
A very warm welcome to the forum.
I had pure mucinous breast cancer and had a lumpectomy. Unfortunately, I had a pre-cancer in the other breast within 4 months and a second cancer in the same breast within a year from my original surgery. I then had a double mastectomy. That was all 16 years ago now and I am still leading a busy and fulfilling life. How are you coping after your lumpectomy and is there a treatment plan in place?
Please keep in touch. We are always here for you.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
