It's great to hear you've been discharged from hospital in time for Christmas, although I'm sorry about the issues you're currently having with your bowel movements and passing wind. As you say, it can be difficult to talk about this but if you feel something isn't quite right and are concerned, then don't hesitate to reach out to your medical team for further support and advice. Hopefully it won't be any cause for concern, but it's always good to be safe in situations like these, especially after surgery.

Hopefully some of our members who have had a radical nephrectomy will share their experiences and insight with you soon, but if you'd like to have a quick chat with one of our cancer nurses about this, they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday (except 24th - 26th December and New Year's Day) between 9a.m - 5p.m. They will do all they can to answer your questions and put your mind at ease about these issues.
