A little worried.

I had an appointment about 6 months ago at the breast clinic as I have a lump on the outer part of my right breast. I was told it was nothing at all to worry about. Fabulous I thought. Then about 3 weeks ago i went away for the night with my husband and he took a naughty picture of me  I saw it the following day and there was a very visible dimple on the same breast but different area. I put it to the back of my mind. However it keeps popping into my head. Will I be wasting peoples time ect I keep on thinking as I had the ultrasound not long ago has anyone else had this happen.

    Hi MrsJohno, You definitely won’t be wasting people’s time, much better to be on the safe side. It may be nothing to worry about but better to talk to someone.

    Thank you I know deep down that I need to go back, I just feel like I don’t want to talk to my family about it right before Christmas as last year on the 23rd for something unrelated (gyne) I had an operation and Christmas was kind of ruined for everyone. I don’t want to put a cloud over this one too for my husband and children.

    Updating this just incase anyone is reading in a similar situation. This morning I had an appointment at the gp that I had made a while ago to request bloods to be re taken as I tend to get low vit d, so while I was there I whipped out the picture of the dimple (around a thumb print size) dr did an exam and asked if I felt pain (I have a bruised feeling on outer breast. She said she was going to refer to breast pain clinic. I came away a little confused but at least I showed them

    You’ve done the right thing otherwise you would probably have sat at home worried about the fact that you hadn’t had it looked at. I know how worrying it can be but you will get through it.
