Welcome to the Cancer Chat community Quadders, although I'm sorry to hear you were diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year.

Stopping smoking is very difficult so well done for managing to be nicotine free for 3 months so you can have your breast surgery and reconstruction.

With everything that you have been going through it's completely understandable, and natural, to be feeling rather emotional at the moment Quadders so try not to be too hard on yourself at this time.

So many of our members know how tough it can be to contend with the rollercoaster of emotions that this journey can bring, so you are not alone, and I'm sure you will receive some support and advice soon.

In the meantime, if you would like to talk any of this through with one of our cancer nurses you can contact them on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very insightful, so if you have any questions or concerns, they will do all they can to address them and support you as you prepare for your upcoming surgery.
