A very warm welcome to our forum though I am sorry to hear about what brings you here and that you have stage 4b lung cancer. Our website has useful information on metastatic lung cancer and on treatment for lung cancer which I hope you will find helpful to read before your appointment tomorrow. I just wanted to wish you the best of luck for your appointment tomorrow and I hope that you will hear from others on here who have had this appointment before for stage 4 lung cancer and that they will come and share their experience with you.

You might also wish to talk things through with our cancer nurses before your appointment and their free helpline is open from 9am tomorrow and you can get in touch with them Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm on this free number 0808 800 4040.  

I am so sorry that they got your diagnosis wrong initially and I can imagine this has come as a bit of a shock but I wanted you to know you are not alone and I hope that I will be joined by other members of our community who have also been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and who may have had this appointment you are going to tomorrow and hopefully they can tell you more as to what to expect based on their personal experience. Another member Ysta posted a few months ago this thread about finding out they had stage 4 lung cancer and they mentioned that it had spread to adrenal glands. Don't hesitate to drop them a line if you wish to do so as they may understand what you are going through at the moment having been in a similar place themselves recently.
